RSM RPO Certification: 2 Proven Credentials, Best Value

RSM RPO Certification: Registered Scrum Master and Product Owner

One self-paced course covering two Scrum Inc. credentials, so you go in certified rather than working it out on the job.

32 video lessons, 11 hands-on Mural activities and Crafty AI throughout, built on the same empiricism-first approach ScrumCraft uses in its live training.

A$595, was A$1,200. Self-paced on ScrumCraft Academy, with no live sessions to schedule around.

What it costs

Why professionals get certified

A certification changes what happens before you get the job. The shortlist, the interview, the conversation you get invited into.

Proof, not just a claim

RSM and RPO are recognised names from Scrum Inc., so nobody has to take your word for it.

Two roles, one course

Most people learn one seat at the table. Learn both and you understand how the work actually moves, not just your part of it.

Fewer hedged answers in meetings

Know the framework properly and you stop qualifying everything you say. You start making calls people trust.

A clear next step

Chasing your first Scrum Master title, or building towards coaching? This is something concrete to point at.

What the RSM RPO Certification covers

This course earns you two credentials from Scrum Inc.: the Registered Scrum Master and the Registered Product Owner. Jeff Sutherland founded Scrum Inc., and he co-created Scrum. The same trainers who run our live courses built it, and it covers both credentials in one sequence. You can read about the trainers behind it on our team page.

The course runs across five modules: four sprints and a deployment stage where you sit the exam and collect your badge. Each sprint mixes video lessons, Mural activities and a knowledge check. That is the same rhythm the course is teaching you to run in a real team, which is the point.

What you’ll be certified in

You work through both tracks before sitting the final exam. We think that is the point: the two roles only make sense next to each other.

RSM

Registered Scrum Master

How the team works. Running the five Scrum events properly, protecting the team’s ability to self-manage, and coaching a group out of status-meeting habits into real inspection and adaptation.

RPO

Registered Product Owner

What the team builds. Ordering the Product Backlog by value, writing and slicing user stories, running refinement, and making the customer and business case behind a release.

What’s included

Everything we pack into the course, module by module.

32 video lessons across four sprints plus deployment, around 9 hours 15 minutes of core video.

11 hands-on Mural activities, including estimation, persona building, epic prioritisation and release planning.

Four sprint knowledge checks and a final exam, so understanding gets tested along the way rather than only at the end.

Crafty AI access built into the course, with a vision statement exercise and an estimation walkthrough.

A learning backlog you build and update every sprint, so the course itself is run as a Scrum project.

Certificate and badge once you pass the final exam.

The five modules inside this certification

Run the way a real Scrum team runs a project: sprints, retros, and a learning backlog that carries forward. Open any module to see what is inside.

If any of this sounds like your week

You’re moving into a Scrum Master or Product Owner role and want something behind it other than the job title.

Your day already spans backlog work and team facilitation, so picking one credential would only cover half of it.

You’d rather fit this around evenings and weekends than block out two fixed days for live training.

You’ve finished Registered Scrum Basics or something like it, and you’re ready to sit an exam.

How this compares with CSM and PSM

All three lead to a recognised Scrum credential. The differences are format, cost, and whether you come away with one certification or two. This is the only one of the three that issues two from a single enrolment.

The things people ask first

Is A$595 the actual price?

Yes. A$595, down from A$1,200. Sale pricing can change, so the figure on the enrolment page is the one that applies.

How long will it take me?

There is about 9 hours 15 minutes of core video across 32 lessons, plus the Mural activities and knowledge checks. It is self-paced, so you can do a sprint a week or the lot in a fortnight.

When can I start?

Now. There is no next intake to wait for. Enrol and Sprint 1 opens straight away.

What certifications do I actually get?

Both the Registered Scrum Master and the Registered Product Owner, issued by Scrum Inc.

Do I need Scrum experience first?

No prior certification is needed. If you are starting from nothing, our free Scrum course is a good warm-up first.

What is Crafty AI?

It is included with the course and used in two activities: an estimation walkthrough in Sprint 2, and a vision statement exercise in Sprint 3.

How is this different from CSM or PSM?

Two differences that matter. This covers two certifications rather than one, and it is self-paced rather than a fixed two-day class. The comparison table above has the full breakdown.

Is there an exam?

Yes. A knowledge check at the end of each of the four sprints, then a final exam in the deployment module before your certificate and badge are issued.

Do I need to be in Australia?

No. The course is online and self-paced, so it runs anywhere. ScrumCraft is made in Adelaide, and our instructor-led training runs across Australia and online.

Can my whole team enrol together?

Yes, and it works well as shared groundwork because everyone finishes with the same vocabulary. Get in touch to coordinate a group.
