Intentional language is vital in agile. Stoicism teaches us that our reactions to events, not the events themselves that shape our experience. Agile emphasises clear, purposeful communication to foster teamwork and adaptability. Fewer but specific intentional words win the day.
So in practice using intentional language means speaking and thinking with purpose and clarity. For instance in you daily scrum or daily stand up meeting, instead of saying,
“I think I’ll try to finish this task,”

“I will complete this task by the end of today.”
This shift in language though small fosters a more confident, committed approach, vital in agile team success.
